Workshop & Inspections

Purpose {#purpose}

Workshop tickets for repairs and formal equipment inspections (DGUV, UVV, etc.).

Navigation: Sidebar Workshop/app/workshop

Permissions: workshop.report (report — in all default roles), workshop.manage (edit, Workshop role), inspection.run (inspect), inspection.settings (inspection types), inspection.release (release)

Notifications for new tickets and open/overdue inspections go to users with workshop.manage (Workshop role, plus Administrator).

Workshop overview {#workshop-overview}

/app/workshop shows:

  • Open workshop tickets
  • Due and in-progress inspections
  • Filter by status and priority

Report a workshop ticket {#report-a-workshop-ticket}

From inventory {#from-inventory}

  1. Open equipment or item
  2. Report to workshop
  3. Description, priority, optional photos/attachments

From workshop {#from-workshop}

  1. WorkshopNew ticket or scan
  2. Assign equipment (search or scan)

Permission: workshop.report

Edit workshop ticket {#edit-workshop-ticket}

/app/workshop/tickets/:id

Dispose Total loss — archive equipment

Workshop scan {#workshop-scan}

/app/workshop/scan — scan equipment to quickly open or create a ticket.

Inspections {#inspections}

EVISYS supports recurring and event-based inspections with documented inspection steps.

Configure inspection types {#configure-inspection-types}

/app/workshop/inspection-settings

Element Description
Inspection type e.g. “DGUV V3”, “Visual truss inspection”
Inspection steps Checklist with required fields
Trigger Periodic, after rental, manual
Interval e.g. every 12 months

Permission: inspection.settings

Run an inspection {#run-an-inspection}

  1. Open due inspection in workshop overview or on equipment
  2. /app/workshop/inspections/:idStart inspection
  3. Complete all steps (yes/no, readings, photos)
  4. Complete — on pass: equipment released
  5. On fail: workshop ticket or status Defective

Release inspection {#release-inspection}

Some tenants require a second person for release (inspection.release).

Inspection PDF {#inspection-pdf}

Completed inspections can be exported as PDF: /app/workshop/inspections/:id/pdf

Compliance notes {#compliance-notes}

The app shows validation hints for incomplete documentation (e.g. missing readings, required photos). Inspection records should meet your safety officer’s requirements.

Inspection calendar {#inspection-calendar}

/app/workshop/calendar — overview of due and planned inspections by date. Color coding by urgency.

Automatic reminders {#automatic-reminders}

The system can send notifications when inspections are due. Email settings: notifications.

Equipment lifecycle {#equipment-lifecycle}

On equipment detail (/app/inventory/equipment/:id), the timeline shows all inspections, workshop events, and rentals chronologically.

Common issues {#common-issues}

Cannot complete inspection Fill all required steps
Equipment blocked Maintenance status until inspection complete
No inspection types visible inspection.settings — admin must configure
